The Horsefly Community Club manages and maintains the Community Hall, the literal and figurative heart of the village of Horsefly, BC. As a versatile hub, the hall hosts events like Bingo, Follies, and Old-Fashioned Christmas, facilitates local organizations, and provides a venue for life’s milestones.
Beyond the hall, the Community Club coordinates valuable programs, including swimming lessons and Christmas hampers, and serves as an emergency muster station. We are also the proud home of Horsefly’s mascot, Buzzy.
The Horsefly Community Club is a registered non-profit, 100% volunteer-run organization committed to serving our community. Governance is provided by a dedicated Board—including a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and six Directors—who also lead many of our specialized committees and programs.
Much of our programming is driven by passionate volunteer coordinators and committees who manage our diverse services. We believe in transparency and community involvement; therefore, board meetings are open to the public. Join us on the first Thursday of every month at 7pm to see how we work together.
